The Missing Knicker

Regular readers will be aware that I have one ( yes just one) set of expensive underwear, which I have referred to on numerous occasions. A dreadful thing has happened. The knickers, of the expensive bra and knicker set, have gone missing !I am not sure, when this tragic incident occurred, but I do know that a) I was not wearing them at the time they went missing,b) they are not in the knicker drawer and c) GASP is missing them too. You see the expensive underwear was not just a set to make me feel good. I had purchased them a few months after the arrival of son number 2, and they signalled my return to normal life, from big mama to hot mama , from tummy mummy to yummy mummy, from miaow to Rrrrrrrr! Marks and Spencers were abandoned for this purchase, and off I traipsed, childless, one morning to Ooh La La! ( I kid you not) in the local town. The aforementioned underwear set were on display in the window, and it was love at first sight. Thankfully, they had my size and in a matter of moments a mundane Monday, became spectacular as I caught sight of myself in the very generous changing room mirror.The purchase was swift but somewhat painful, as the set cost 90 euro, an amount which previously had clothed me from head to toe , but I decided I was worth it. Not only was I worth it, but it soon became apparent that they were worth it,as they had an equally spectacular effect on GASP. This effect has continued for some time now, and the mere sight of the set, has done wonders for both of us !
Today , however, we are bereft. There is no sign of the knickers. GASP was not taking it seriously, until I advised him I was looking for 30 euro worth of knicker, at which point her dropped the paper and headed down for a rummage through my drawers....the non pleasurable type.I am terribly concerned that they may have dropped off the indoor drying line into the recycling bin and that they are being made into something hideous as I type. I really hope they are statically attracted to another piece of clothing and will appear one day soon.....life just isn't the same without them !
