Today saw the inaugural bigfoodiemama "fun" run, or the Larathon as Transformation Tracey christened it. We met at 11.45 at a local football pitch, warmed up in the 12 degree heat and set off along the country roads in our KOK t shirts, as admission to my fun run involved a strict dress code. GASP had advised me that there was a "couple of hills" on the route, but apparently hills are totally different to "humps and bumps" of which there were quite a few ! Now some of the Krill Oil Krazies had the lovely experience of the tummy bug during the week so only 8 ran, of which a couple were still delicate. The heat did not help the dehydration and there were a few wee walkies, where we should have been running, but we completed 8.3 km in total, so were delighted with ourselves. Then it was back to my house for the lunch...oh yes ! The KOK's know how to do lunch. Everyone brought along something , which when added together turned into a feast of both savoury ...
