As I thought when I created my blog Luke Joseph Cassidy had chosen that very night to commence his journey into the world and arrived around 9 am the following morning ! I had intended to be a blogger throughtout my maternity leave but now find myself with a six month old baby, back at work and only getting back to it now. I appear to have forgotten how busy being a Mum is and a Mum without broadband makes life even more challenging ! Thankfully Broadband arrived a few weeks ago and now I am shopping online, have joined facebook and am generally feeling more attached to the world ! As you will see ( when I manage to load a few photos )big brother Pierce is pretty keen on his new brother, thankfully. He has been great and we enjoyed a great maternity leave together, going out for lunch, visiting people and generally having a ball. Second time around everything is easier. We did alot of baking and our sweet potato muffins ( allrecipes.com) and brownies have reached perfection !I discover...

Hi blogging world, I have no idea what I am doing as this is the first time I have actually accessed, let alone create a blog.Let me introdue the big foodie mama. I am one week overdue my second child, hence the big and mama part and the other mainstay of my life is food, reading about it, eating it, discussing it and thinking about it.I thought a blog might be a good idea during my maternity leave so that I will have contact with the outside world and hope that it might stop my brain from shrinking...here's hoping. I have a hopeful/funny feeling that my next blog might allow me to introduce baby no. 2 but will have to wait and see as there are no signs as yet. Will be in touch Big Foodie Mama x
